The Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle is an independent program of Calliope: the Pittsburgh Folk Music Society, and is dedicated to exploring, promoting and practicing the art and craft of song writing. Singer-songwriter Lori Pearce has a beautiful voice to compliment her acoustic, dexterous, finger-picking. Her country/folk songs are at once both familiar and unique. And she's got a knack for engaging young children in singalongs. Lori's set includes the debut of her original Halloween composition, Creepy Town.
