Week 3 found us taking a class trip to the other side of the museum where The Saturday Light Brigade broadcasting studios are located.  There we received an interactive demonstration of how radio programming works: playing commercials, using sound-bytes, placing callers on the air, playing music, and creating a personality that helps to tie all of these elements together.  Campers were able to interact with the equipment and helped us record “drops” for our radio program, which you can hear this Saturday between 6 am and 12 pm.  Today, we also used a midi-controller to record sound fx for our 5 sounds stories.  Great job today campers!
