I've just got to say that any of you who have had the pleasure of listening to Rick recently should thank your stars, because I haven't had the pleasure for 30 years......Yah you heard right it's been 30 years since we sat and played our guitars together in our garage-converted to an-apartment in Tucson, Arizona. Rick and I hit the road all that time ago in order to spread some music and have some fun and (meet some awesome ladies along the way) and nothing really changes.....We're still doin all those things and lovin life after all this time being able to stay alive.. Keep listenin and lovin, Sam

I have been to see Rick in several settings and always enjoy myself. I continue to go to see him whenever the opportunity presents itself. He is an exceptional guitar player and wonderful story teller/writer and consistantly gives a great performance. I look forward to going to his next show.

I agree with JoAnn. Rick's story writing style does remind me of some of John Denver's works. Fitting praise from Mr. Berger as well comparing Rick's singing and playing styles to those of Guy Clark (Home Grown Tomatoes - find it & listen, you'll see what he means). Old Bed Covers is my personal favorite - but there is an Irish song he does that is very funny! I'll have to ask Rick to play "Young Michael" (now a new favorite of mine) at one of our Beatnik Cafe nights. Rick has been very gracious and extremely supportive of our local open mic nights helping to encourage young and emerging musicians to share and develop their craft. What we heard on Saturday Light Brigade was a wonderful sampling from a man who's stories let us envision, and who's songs let us hear his love for musically celebrating and illustrating life.

It is so great to hear your voice. I am especially found of the Old oak kitchen chair since we recently moved my dad and I have inherited the family oak table and chairs. Thank you.

Rick tells a great story using his talents as a singer/guitar player, similar to how John Denver performed. Very thought provoting. I enjoyed the interview.

I enjoyed this interview with Rick and love his unique entertainment. He is a great guitar player and his voice is calming and enjoyable. His passion is obvious and he writes great stories. I have his "Demo" CD - I saw him at the Harvest Valley Pumpkin Farm - Keep the music coming!
