New at Neighborhoodvoices: Acclaimed performer and songwriter Malcolm Holcombe joins us, bringing his “unsettlingly beautiful” music and muscianship to our studios.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Scott Peterson and Sarah Siplak are the husband and wife duo ‘The Wreckids,’ creating satirical and poignant folk pop with beautifully blended harmonies. We’re pleased to welcome the group as they sing about consumer awareness, personal accomplishments, and zombies, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Anne Feeney, labor heritage singer-songwriter, performs live in our studios along with Ginny Hildebrand and Tracy Drach.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Singer-songwriter Todd Burge shares with us songs from two new albums, ‘Character Building’ and ‘Building Characters’, to be released simultaneously on April 23rd. Todd gets some help from his son, Will, and his daughter, Sophia, when performing tracks from ‘Character Building’, his first record aimed specifically towards children and families. Hear the Parkersburg, West Virginia native’s interview and performance, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Marvin Irish, Aiden, Nathan and Zoe Magely, Edgar O’connell, Desmond Rucker, Selena Williams, and Mike are students in instrumental and vocal music in elementary school at Pittsburgh Dilworth PreK-5. We’re pleased to have them share their work and talent, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: The cast members of Gemini Theater’s “A Fairly Wizardly Adventure” preview their production of this unconventional story, live on SLB. Show opens March 31 and runs through April 22, 2012.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Christian Wig, proud to be named after his grandfather Christian Christianson, is a published historian, folk music aficionado, and very talented multi-instrumentalist. Hear Christian and Mark Ward performing traditional appalachian music for fiddle and banjo, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Nameless in August is Zach Rock, Jason Buzon and Patrick McGinley performing folk-rock songs on banjo, acoustic guitar and bass, live on SLB.

Vermont-based singer/songwriter Rik Palieri performs original tunes on guitar to old traditional “Americana” folk songs live in our studios.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Sean Regan of Edinboro PA, along with Nick Hudson, Andrew Bova, and percussionist Miles Bennington performing traditional Scottish pieces for bagpipes and discussing the origins and significance of these instruments, their music and culture, live on SLB.
