YMAP 2013-14 Culminating Celebration at St. Agnes Hall
WQED Multimedia/Learning Innovation coverage of the April 25, 2014 Youth Media Advocacy Program (YMAP) culminating event celebrating the work of nearly 400 ninth graders at Pittsburgh Obama, Pittsburgh Brashear and Wilkinsburg during the 2013-2014 school year.
Made possible by The Heinz Endowments and begun in 2010, YMAP is a collaboration of Carlow University, SLB Radio Productions, Inc., and Consortium for Public Education. The program works to equip and empower high school students with skills and tools to promote change in their schools and communities.
