Pittsburgh Musical Theatre previews A Lyrical Christmas Carol, a “fun and scary” musical version of Dickens’ classic tale of redemption. Created in 1991 by Ken and Jane Gargaro, Scrooge continues to delight audiences every year with a wealth of emotion and humor.

We are proud to host singer-songwriter Jay Hitt in our studios. Combining vivid storytelling, a down to earth folk style and crisp acoustic melodies. Jay’s performance is sure to please listeners of all ages.
Steel City Sing-Along & Postcard to Pete Seeger
Join us live at the Children’s Museum on SLB as The Newlanders present a very special Saturday morning sing-along featuring songs about Pittsburgh, the music of legendary Pittsburgh architect and songwriter Robert Schmertz, and a new song about Johnny Appleseed written at the request of Pete Seeger.
Brian Ashley Jones
We’re pleased to welcome Brian Ashley Jones, a soulful singer, accomplished lead guitarist, and versatile touring Americana songwriter. Originally from South Carolina, Brian is now based out of Music City, USA, otherwise known as Nashville. Tisha Simeral will be joining him live on upright bass.

Lori Pearce
Singer-songwriter Lori Pearce has a beautiful voice to compliment her acoustic, dexterous, finger-picking. Her country/folk songs are at once both familiar and unique. And she’s got a knack for engaging young children in singalongs. Lori’s set includes the debut of her original Halloween composition, Creepy Town.
