From 08/19/2023: Selections on soprano vocals with Pittsburgh Concert Society Young Artist Award honoree Haley Hunt (18, Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School), accompanied on piano by her brother, Jackson Hunt (19, Oberlin Conservatory).
I am so very proud of Haley. I am her Grandmother. She was right when she said she sang her whole life. When she was little, she would stand on a milk crate and perform. She is born performer. When I watch her sing, I don’t know the words. But I know what she is singing. It is her actions and her facial expressions that tells the story. And she so loves it! You can tell. She commands the stage when she sings!
To hear both Haley and Jackson perform together warms my heart. Jackson has been taking piano lessons since he was four. He is an accomplished pianist. It is so wonderful to hear the two performing together.
