New at Neighborhoodvoices: Pittsburgh native and Kentucky-based master storyteller and fiddle player Tom Cunningham shares his originally composed “Fiddle Tales,” live on SLB.
Live Music: Peter King
New at Neighborhoodvoices: Songwriter Peter King recently released his second album, “Dancing on a Long Leash” which is inspired by his dog, his wife, and samba music. We’re happy to welcome Peter back to the show as he performs his original songs, with accompaniment from bassist Mark Perna, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Local singer-songwriter B. Greiner, 15, is ‘Diviapaed,’ a fusion of soft-rock, folk and christian music. We’re pleased to welcome this young talent, live on SLB.
CRY America / Toys Du Jour
New at Neighborhoodvoices: CRY America Pittsburgh’s 8th Annual Festival in the Park features Indian food, music, culture and a movie to benefit underpriviledged children in India and the US. The event was Sunday, July 15th from 5pm to dusk at Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park, Oakland. Joining us is Adam MacGregor, long time volunteer, Sri Babu, an intern, and musicians Toys Du Jour, who performed at the festival and shared some of their distinctive tunes with us, live on SLB.

YES: Children of the New World Chorus
New at Neighborhoodvoices: Children of the New World is a summer camp offered by the Pittsburgh School for the Choral Arts. Taught by leaders of the Oakland Girls Choir, the camp includes a week of musical learning, art activities, dance classes, and games which focus on different cultures in the Americas. This performance is a culmination of the music they’ve learned over the week, from a group of 1st through 6th grade girls.
Live Music: The Carpenter Ants
New at Neighborhoodvoices: The Carpenter Ants combine old-style R&B with gospel, funk, soul and country. Their recent release entitled “Ants and Uncles,” includes performances from industry mainstays Steve Ferguson and Jon Carrol. We’re pleased to host this talented group of musicians from West Virginia, live on SLB.
