Since 1978, The Saturday Light Brigade has broadcast LIVE spontaneous on-air phone calls from kids and adults as part of its Saturday morning radio program. Now you can hear some of the most memorable calls from people participating in on-air games and other participatory features or simply calling to tell us about something exciting.

His 2009 release, “Almost Gone,” has been an international hit, charting at #2 in the Euro Americana charts, and his most recent release, “Under the Church” is available now. We were pleased to host this talented musician this past week, live on SLB.

He has won an unprecedented number of Boston Music Awards – 14, to be precise – and even has a holiday named after him: Ellis Paul Day is July 9th in Boston. We are thrilled to have Ellis join us, live on SLB.

New at Neighborhoodvoices: Rick Ermlick and Tom Moran formed Sons of Solome in 2011, combining 80 years of unique musical experience. In SoS, Rich plays percussion, such as doumbek, frame drum, and djembe. Tom’s primary instruments for performing live are an electric oud and an electric sitar. The duo references their own cul;tural influences of rock, surf, and R&B into the World music styles of West and North Africa, Central Asia, and India and the Middle East.
