Spotlight: Pittsburgh Folk Festival w/ Mimi Jong
Mimi Jong has played the erhu – an ancient chinese instrument – since the age of ten. She has performed alongside members of the Pittsburgh Symphony and renowned Jazz musicians. Jong also performed with Mary Miller Dance Company, and taught/performed at Huntingdon Council for the Arts “Folk College.”

Katherine Zhou is a sophomore at North Allegheny Intermediate High School in Wexford, PA. She began playing the piano at the age of five in Milwaukee, WI. After moving to Pittsburgh at the age of ten, she began studying with CMU Professor Hanna Li.
