Streaming Justice Webcast 2019: Students Honor MLK
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, high school students hosted Streaming Justice, a live four-hour webcast. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., participants hosted the live webcast, selected the songs played during their segments and learned about the equipment used in a live broadcast. Discussions covered topics such as civil rights, youth engagement, public education and other matters of justice and equity.
Students that participated in Streaming Justice are from area schools including Obama Academy, Oakland Catholic, Penn Hills High School, Nazareth Prep, Environmental Charter School, Sci-Tech, St. Benedict the Moor and Woodland Hills Junior Senior High School.
