The Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle is an independent program of Calliope: the Pittsburgh Folk Music Society, and is dedicated to exploring, promoting and practicing the art and craft of song writing. This week we’re joined by members Bruce Hoffman, Mike Strasser and John Hayes, as they share their original, acoustic music and discuss the newly released, Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle: Collection 2010.

The very talented Rosa Colucci brings her all-star group down to our studios for a live holiday performance. Along with veteran musicians Jay Hitt, Dave Cutler, Bob Banerjee, Steve Fisher and Mike Lazzaro, Rosa will perform seasonal favorites with her band’s own unique stylings.
