Students at The Environmental Charter School at Frick Park in Mrs. Mars’ first grade class, ages 6 to 7, share stories with topics such as their favorite habitat, park memories, things that they would change about their park and why the parks are important to them.

Students at Pittsburgh Linden K-5 ages 8 to 10 share their thoughts and even a limerick about parks and the value of protecting the environment.

5 students at Trinity High School share things they love about their neighborhood or wish were different and then speculate as to how that would compare to living in a bigger city such as Pittsburgh.

Two groups of students at McKeesport High School discuss their thoughts on sharing, working with young people. The younger group, aged 4-5 discuss sharing after having read “Stone Soup,” the older students, aged 15-17, discuss their experience working with the younger children.

We are proud to host the extremely gifted Lee Robinson, live in our studios. Lee is an accomplished jazz musician who has performed worldwide. He specializes in tenor and soprano saxophone, which he considers his “musical voices.”
