Book-Pile_1 In February and March 2005, Avalon Elementary School in the Northgate School District created Radio Book Reviews as part of a unique pilot project in which 18 students wrote personal book reviews, prepared them for broadcast, and voiced their opinions using professional recording equipment from the studios of SLB Radio Productions. The reviews were released March 12, 2005 at the Northgate Arts Odyssey, a district-wide celebration of the arts.
