Since 1978, The Saturday Light Brigade has broadcast LIVE spontaneous on-air phone calls from kids and adults as part of its Saturday morning radio program. Now you can hear some of the most memorable calls from people participating in on-air games and other participatory features or simply calling to tell us about something exciting.

Radio Camp 2014 – Day 13 – “A Time I Achieved”

On our thirteenth day, campers were asked about a time they achieved something. From helping an elder cross the street to winning second place in their very first softball tournament, our radio campers had a lot to be proud of!

Radio Camp 2014 – Day 12 – Mad Lib

On our twelfth day of Radio Camp we decided to put a little twist on our writing exercise. Campers were given an SLB-themed Mad Lib and had to come up with: A job title, a movie, a country, two verbs, a plural noun, a noun, a plurality of a creature, two foods, a famous person and a natural disaster.

Radio Camp 2014 – Day 9 – Adobe Audition 101

On our ninth day of Radio Camp, campers got a crash course in Adobe Audition, the audio editing software we use to polish their recordings. Taking turns with a wireless keyboard, each camper received a turn to edit their own voice with it projected onto a large white board.
