The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents “runt,” a one man play by award-winning, Canadian/Jamaican writer/actor Michael Phillip Edwards. “runt” is a powerful autobiographical story of one man’s journey from cowering child to an autonomous man. The Gemini Theater produces original, interactive, children’s musicals which focus on artistic, cultural and educational themes. This week we welcome members of the cast of Alice in Wonderland as they preview their production of this classic story.
Jackie Jonas and Middle Passage
Jackie Jonas joins us to preview her benefit performance of Middle Passage. This evening of stories and music celebrates the Black American experience and features drumming, gospel music, original and traditional stories. Jackie will be joined by Middle Passage singer Raphael Kelly. Proceeds from this performance, held at the Union Project in Highland Park.

Animal Friends Visit – Willie The Saint Bernard
Ann Ensminger of Animal Friends drops by our studios once again, bringing down a beautiful little pet with hopes of finding it a home. She’ll also preview their Bark in the Park dog festival in North Park. If you’d like to adopt a cuddly little creature, Animal Friends is a great place to start!
