Since 1978, The Saturday Light Brigade has broadcast LIVE spontaneous on-air phone calls from kids and adults as part of its Saturday morning radio program. Now you can hear some of the most memorable calls from people participating in on-air games and other participatory features or simply calling to tell us about something exciting.

Fifth Avenue Strings

In anticipation of their Balmoral Classic appearance, the award winning St. Thomas’ Episcopal School Pipe Band joins us for a live radio performance.

This five-time Junior World Champion band electrifies the audience with traditional and contemporary music performed by pipers and drummers, supplemented with keyboard, percussion, fiddle, and guitar.

Fourteen-year-old mandolin player, Gordon Neidinger, performs live for us!

Gordon is a Ben Avon resident and member of the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra. He has made guest appearances with The Great American Gypsies. Gordon also studies acoustic guitar. He is enrolled in the PA Cyber Charter School.
