Erin Dawn “Scratchy” Hutter 1966 – 2014

Submitted by on October 30, 2014 – 4:21 pm

SLB was sad to learn of the October 27, 2014 passing of Erin Dawn “Scratchy” Hutter and extends our deepest sympathy to all touched by her life and music, including the many students she taught during her 20-year career as a music teacher in the North Hills School District. Here she is with the Scottish fiddle tune Flowers of Edinburgh from her appearance with Slim Forsythe & The Park Lane Drifters on the March 28, 2009 edition of The Saturday Light Brigade.Scratchy_Slim

So sorry to hear. She was my cello teacher in elementary school & gave me my first favorite CD (of her band). I listened to that disc probably more than 1,000 times & still can replay some of the tracks in my head. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
