We asked our Brashear Radio Club members why, if at all, after school programs are important to them. Some students appreciated the ability to use the gym to workout, while others cited the help they’re able to get with their homework, or the time spent with friends.

It doesn’t matter what neighborhood someone is from – or if they’re even from the United States. The After School regulars have their own community. Even though we’re only there one day a week, it was a treat to hear them reflect on what the programs mean to them.
