From 9/29/12: A celebration of the City Theatre Young Playwrights Festival (10/6 and 10/7, City Theatre, South Side), with playwrights Marin Exler of Carlynton Junior-Senior High School, Brigid Stuart of Brentwood Middle School, Claire Zalla of Fort Couch Middle School, Liam McInerney of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and Alexis Payne of Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12, actors Caroline Jordan, Julianne Avolio, and Hannah Gold, and City Theatre’s Kristen Link.

Very comprehensive interview. It is astounding to hear how articulate the students are about their work and the experience of having their words put on stage. I particularly enjoyed listening to Liam–the next Woody Allen?–since he is my wonderfully talented nephew!
