Youth Places Summer Camp 2021: Podcasting With SLB Radio

In Summer 2021, Youth Places campers took part in a podcasting class taught by SLB Radio. Participating students learned to use microphones, digital recorders and mixers while sharpening speaking, listening, writing and collaboration skills. During their time in class, students used these acquired skills to come to consensus on podcast topics, consider their audience when selecting topics, actively listen to one another during podcast recordings, develop interview questions and self-critique recordings in order to create eleven podcast episodes and individual commentaries.
