Students in Radio Club at The ZONE wrote and recorded short pieces describing themselves.  They then learned how to edit their own pieces and place them in a montage while also learning about multi-tracking.   Finally, they placed their pieces over a beat and made decisions about how their voices should be mixed over a music bed. This montage is a result of the third of nine weekly sessions in which students will learn about the microphones, mixers and digital recorders used in producing features for radio.  Here is what the students came up with:
