Today at Radio Camp we took time to record thoughts about ourselves in our journals and then were able to record some of them!
Welcome Campers! We had an amazing day with both of our groups. We spent our time getting to know each other through icebreakers (human knot, anyone?), conversation, jokes and activities. Our campers are wonderfully bright, funny and engaging. This is their blog, where we will document their daily experiences and house the audio they create. We’ve got an exciting five weeks ahead of us and can’t wait to begin recording for our Summer Dreamers Radio Program. See you tomorrow!
At the 2011 celebration for the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancies 15th birthday, HearMe & SLB collected these 5 stories from children aged 7 to 11. Topics were left up to the storyteller and ranged from Sports, Volunteerism, Martin Luther King, Jr, Acting and Animals.
Pittsburgh Elementary students shared their thoughts and feelings about trees and the environment at a special Arbor Day event held at The Carnegie Library of Hazelwood.
Nearly 100 third, fourth and fifth grade students at Pittsburgh Manchester K-8 participated in this innovative project celebrating neighborhood history through music and art.
