Our Summer Dreamers Radio Campers are sharing their talents as well as their experiences in the city-wide camp called the Summer Dreamers Academy, which is free for all PPS students K-8. Joining us, camper Gabby Johnson and her mom, along with Summer Dreamers Project Manager Eddie Wilson, discussing the 2011 Summer Dreamers Academy and the Pittsburgh Promise – a college scholarship opportunity made available to all PPS students.

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy – 15th Birthday
At the 2011 celebration for the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancies 15th birthday, HearMe & SLB collected these 5 stories from children aged 7 to 11. Topics were left up to the storyteller and ranged from Sports, Volunteerism, Martin Luther King, Jr, Acting and Animals.
CLP Hazelwood-Arbor Day
Pittsburgh Elementary students shared their thoughts and feelings about trees and the environment at a special Arbor Day event held at The Carnegie Library of Hazelwood.

Grow Pittsburgh and FitWits Family Night
Children attending the Fitwits Family Night at Propel McKeesport discussed their sensory experiences and relationships with herbs. This project was a collaboration between Fitwits, Grow Pittsburgh, and the Saturday Light Brigade.
