Whether it’s a swimming pool, close proximity to a store, or interesting people, every neighborhood has something that stands out to it’s citizens. Our CADA Programs campers wrote, recorded, and shared what they appreciate about their own neighborhoods.
On our twelfth day of Radio Camp, campers got a crash course in Adobe Audition, the audio editing software we use to polish their recordings. Taking turns with a wireless keyboard, each camper received a turn to edit their own voice with it projected onto a large screen.
Radio campers at Summer Dreamer’s Academy were asked to write a not-so-typical story, one that had to begin like this: “One night, you’re eating dinner with your family, when one of the peas on your plate starts whispering to you. What does it say?”
The good times keep rolling at Camp Fun in Warrington! Each camper wrote and recorded a story, with the stipulation that their tale must contain an alien.
Campers were asked “What would happen on your perfect day? What would you do? Who would you spend it with?”

Campers were introduced to the H1–a handheld, digital recording device. After learning the basics, they then formed small groups and took turns interviewing each other.
Wilkinsburg TIGERs have a knack for writing and performing. Hear some original haiku poems as well as an a capella tune from the camp’s resident songstress, Ajarah.
On our fifth and sixth day of Radio Camp, campers wrote and recorded about their futures. We have an awesome variety of aspirations in our group of Dreamers, ranging from professional athlete to modern artist!
